Print & Digital Design

Print design and production comes in all scales and sizes, from brochure and report layout to large-scale bus shelter posters and construction wrap fence signs. Below are examples of printed design collateral including mailed postcards, posters, promotional cards and booklets, brochures and decals. Just as relevant and diverse, digital design can take many forms. I have provided digital brochures, reports, and proposals for clients. Some are animated, some just meant to maximize a screen’s wide layout. An example of a recently published digital document, the Annual Report for the Washington Chapter of the Urban Land Institute, features bold colors and subtle animation to capture the attention of readers with easy-to-read facts and figures, turning what might be a boring report into a visual experience.

“Working with Melanie Becker was a joy. She is organized, timely/prompt, and dedicated. She is gifted in graphic design and implementation, as well as seeing through piles of information to distill it into a compelling and beautiful graphic story.”
